Driving the #51 Ford Mustang, Darin Mock has committed his 2024 intentions with the potent Nitro Motorsports. Set to do battle in the TA2 class at the Trans-Am Presented by Pirelli program in 2024, 21-year-old Mock is entering the season motivated and determined for success.
“Darin was part of our efforts in 2023, and we are once again welcoming him back for our 2024 campaign,” explained Nick Tucker. “We have put together a strong and talented driver lineup for the upcoming season, and Darin is a key piece to that puzzle.”
“I’m excited to be back with Nitro Motorsports for another season in TA2,” added multi-time motorsports champion Darin Mock. “We had a very productive year last year, and I’m looking forward to keeping the momentum going again in 2024.”
While a threat for strong finishes on the track, off it, Darin has become an Ambassador and a National Spokesperson for EB Research Partnership.
EB Research Partnership (EBRP) is the largest global nonprofit funding to discover treatments and cures for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a devasting life-threatening genetic skin disorder that affects children from birth. The kids are referred to as butterfly kids. Founded in 2010 by Jill and Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Darin has partnered with EBRP to bring awareness and host a series of fundraisers across the country to race for a cure.
Mock added, “The season is right around the corner now, and I am anxious to get it going.”
