Coming in the Trans-Am presented by Pirelli program in 2022, 15-year-old Ben Maier will make the full-time switch to Nitro Motorsports for his 2024 campaign. Finishing 13th in the championship point standings, Maier is looking to work his way up the order, and a major role in that effort will be his new crew chief, Brad Parrott.

“First off, I am very excited about being back with Nitro Motorsports in 2024,” expressed Kent Island, Maryland’s Ben Maier. “I was one of Nick Tucker’s first drivers in karts when he originally made Nitro Kart, and he has coached and helped me through all my racing so far. I only raced once with Nitro at the Circuit of the Americas last season, and I was happy with my result.”

“Ben raced with our program just once last year, despite completing the full season, and when he did, he showed great speed, poise, and talent that will take him a long way in motorsports,” added Nick Tucker. “I’ve known Ben for quite some time, and he will be a valuable asset in what we are trying to accomplish in 2024 and beyond.”

Receiving support from BOE Marine and RV as well as Sabelt, Maier enters the 2024 season full of excitement and motivation.

Maier continued, “I am excited to work alongside Brad Parrott this season and look forward to the progress that I am anticipating in 2024. A huge thank you to my partners, and everyone who has supported me to help get where I am today.”

With podium results in Stadium Supertrucks and Nitro Rallycross, Maier is looking to add to his results resume in 2024.
